The blockbuster trade that was set to send All-Pro pass rusher Maxx Crosby from the Las Vegas Raiders to the Baltimore Ravens has officially collapsed, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

The deal, which reportedly involved Baltimore sending 2026 and 2027 first-round draft picks to Las Vegas, fell through after Crosby failed his physical with the team on Wednesday. The Raiders issued a brief statement confirming the development, noting that the Ravens had "backed out" of the agreement following the medical evaluation.

According to Pelissero, Crosby’s agent, Ari Nissim, weighed in on the situation, indicating that the failed physical is related to the star's ongoing recovery from offseason surgery to repair a meniscus injury. Crosby had been rehabbing the knee throughout the spring with the expectation of being ready for the 2026 season.

With the trade voided, Crosby remains on the Raiders roster as the new league year begins. The three-time Pro Bowler recorded 10 sacks and 28 tackles for loss in 15 games during the 2025 season before undergoing surgery to address the knee issue in early January.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
