The Green Bay Packers have traded wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks to the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN. In exchange for the second-year receiver, Green Bay will receive a 2026 fifth-round draft pick and a 2027 sixth-round draft pick.
Wicks, a former fifth-round selection out of Virginia, joins a Philadelphia Eagles receiving corps looking to bolster its depth behind starters A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. During his rookie campaign with the Packers, Wicks emerged as a reliable target for quarterback Jordan Love, showcasing strong route-running abilities and recording 581 receiving yards and four touchdowns during the regular season.
For the Packers, the move clears space in a crowded wide receiver room that features Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Jayden Reed. The acquisition of future draft capital provides Green Bay with additional assets as they continue to build their roster, while the Eagles gain a high-upside young target with three years remaining on his rookie contract.
