The New England Patriots have reached an agreement with former New York Jets offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker on a three-year contract, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The deal is reportedly worth $42 million and can reach a maximum value of $48 million through performance incentives. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the contract includes $21 million in guaranteed money. Vera-Tucker, a former first-round pick, spent the first five seasons of his career in New York, where he established himself as one of the most versatile blockers in the league, starting at both guard and tackle positions.
