The Tennessee Titans have officially signed cornerback Alontae Taylor to a three-year contract, per @RapSheet.

Taylor, a Tennessee native and former standout for the Volunteers, returns to his home state on a deal worth $60 million. The contract reportedly includes $42 million in total guarantees, marking a significant investment in the secondary for new head coach Robert Saleh. The move was confirmed by the team on Saturday, following a verbal agreement reached earlier this offseason.

Taylor, 27, spent the first four seasons of his career with the New Orleans Saints, where he developed into one of the league's most versatile defensive backs. Last season, he recorded 83 tackles, two interceptions, and 11 passes defensed while appearing in all 17 games. His ability to play both on the perimeter and in the slot makes him a centerpiece for the Titans' revamped defense.

The signing comes as the Titans continue an aggressive free-agency period under Saleh. Taylor celebrated the official signing by participating in the "Vol Walk" ahead of the Tennessee Orange & White Game in Knoxville on Saturday afternoon. Originally a second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Taylor now returns to Nashville as the projected No. 1 cornerback on the roster.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
