Nashville has been officially awarded the host site for Super Bowl LXIV in 2030, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The decision was finalized following a vote by NFL owners during the league's spring meetings on Wednesday. The selection of the Music City marks a historic milestone for the franchise and the state of Tennessee, as it will be the first time Nashville has ever hosted the NFL's championship game.
The game is set to be played at the Tennessee Titans' new enclosed stadium, which is currently under construction on the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The state-of-the-art venue is expected to be completed in 2027, providing the league with a modern, weather-controlled environment for its premier event.
League commissioner Roger Goodell and NFL ownership reportedly backed the bid due to Nashville's growing reputation as a premier entertainment destination and the city's commitment to infrastructure improvements surrounding the new stadium project.
