In return for the All-Pro defender, the Chiefs will receive a 2026 first-round draft pick (No. 29 overall), a fifth-round pick, and a sixth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Additionally, Kansas City acquires a 2027 third-round selection as part of the package for the standout corner, per @RapSheet.
McDuffie, a cornerstone of the Chiefs' secondary during their recent championship success, immediately becomes the lead cornerback for a Rams defense that has been active on Friday. The move follows the Rams' re-signing of safety Kamren Curl to a three-year, $36 million contract earlier this morning. The trade comes amid a flurry of NFL activity, which also saw the Las Vegas Raiders move to release quarterback Geno Smith and the Dallas Cowboys clear $47 million in cap space by restructuring the contract of Dak Prescott.
