Veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins has officially signed with the Las Vegas Raiders for the 2026 season, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The move, which Rapoport confirmed as "officially official" on Monday, brings the four-time Pro Bowler to Las Vegas on a unique contract structure. Cousins is set to receive a total payday of $20 million for the 2026 campaign. This includes a $10 million salary for the season—of which $1.3 million is paid by the Raiders and the remainder covered by the Atlanta Falcons—plus a $10 million fully guaranteed roster bonus due next March. The agreement also includes a two-year team option valued at $80 million.

Cousins, 37, reunites with Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak. The two previously worked together with the Minnesota Vikings, where Kubiak served as Cousins' offensive coordinator. The signing, which was finalized on Monday, comes just one day after the Pro Day of top Indiana quarterback prospect and Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza.

Cousins spent the 2025 season rehabilitating from a shoulder injury and was recently released by the Falcons following a contract restructure that paved the way for his move to free agency. He brings over 40,000 career passing yards and a veteran presence to a Raiders roster looking to stabilize the quarterback position as they head into the 2026 NFL Draft.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
