The Tennessee Titans have officially moved up in the second round of the NFL Draft, acquiring the No. 60 overall selection in a trade with the Chicago Bears, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
To facilitate the move, the Titans sent the No. 69 overall pick and the No. 144 overall pick to the Bears. The transaction puts Tennessee on the clock immediately as the second round of the draft progresses. The Bears, who originally held the 60th selection, will now move back nine spots in the order while adding a fifth-round asset to their draft haul.
The Titans are expected to make their selection shortly, while the Bears will now prepare to pick at No. 69 later this evening. No players were involved in the swap, which focused strictly on draft pick compensation between the two franchises. According to the official trade terms, the Bears now own the Titans' original third and fifth-round picks.
