Former NFL head coach Adam Gase is set to join the Los Angeles Chargers to work with star quarterback Justin Herbert, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Gase arrives in Los Angeles with a resume highlighted by his extensive work with high-profile quarterbacks across the league. He most famously served as the offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos during Peyton Manning’s record-breaking 2013 campaign, where the offense set multiple all-time NFL marks. In addition to his time in Denver, Gase has held coaching and head coaching positions with the Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets, working alongside veteran Jay Cutler and young prospect Sam Darnold.
The addition of Gase provides the Chargers with a veteran offensive mind to assist in the continued development of Justin Herbert.
