Andrew Janocko is currently in Las Vegas to finalize a deal to join the Las Vegas Raiders coaching staff, according to a report from Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The agreement is expected to be completed as soon as today.
Janocko, a veteran offensive coach, most recently served as the quarterbacks coach for the Chicago Bears. His arrival in Las Vegas marks a key addition to the staff being assembled by head coach Antonio Pierce. Prior to his two-year stint in Chicago, Janocko held various coaching positions with the Minnesota Vikings, including roles as a quarterbacks coach and wide receivers coach.
The Raiders have been active in filling out their offensive staff over the last several weeks. The expected signing of Janocko provides further clarity on the team's direction regarding their offensive identity and quarterback development heading into the 2024 NFL season.
