The Chicago Bears are signing former Cleveland Browns and UFL wide receiver and kick returner Kaden Davis to a one-year contract, according to his agent Sean Stellato per Adam Schefter.
Davis joins the Bears after most recently showcasing his skill set in the UFL. Known for his elite speed and versatility, Davis has previously spent time with the Browns organization and will now look to secure a role in Chicago's receiving rotation and special teams units. The addition provides the Bears with another explosive option in the return game as teams adjust to the NFL's new kickoff regulations.
Before his professional stints in the NFL and UFL, Davis was a standout performer at Northwest Missouri State. His signing adds depth to a revamped Chicago roster heading into the summer. The one-year deal allows the Bears to evaluate the receiver's fit within the new offensive scheme led by the front office and coaching staff.
