The Buffalo Bills are hiring former Tennessee Titans quarterbacks coach Bo Hardegree as their new quarterbacks coach, according to a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Hardegree was reportedly a highly coveted candidate for several roles across the league this offseason, including potential elevated positions. However, he ultimately chose to join the staff in Buffalo to work alongside offensive coordinator Joe Brady and senior offensive assistant Pete Carmichael.
Hardegree brings a wealth of experience to the Buffalo Bills offensive room. He previously served as the quarterbacks coach and interim offensive coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders before his most recent tenure. Per Rapoport, Hardegree recently spent time helping Cam Ward and will now transition to working directly with Josh Allen as the Bills look to bolster their offensive coaching staff.
The addition of Hardegree is a significant move for Joe Brady, who is entering his first full season as the team's permanent offensive coordinator. By securing a coach who was sought after for higher-ranking roles elsewhere, the Bills continue to build a robust support system around their franchise quarterback.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
