The Buffalo Bills have officially hired veteran coach John Fox to serve as a Senior Assistant Coach, according to a report from @AdamSchefter of ESPN.
Fox joins Sean McDermott's staff with an extensive resume that includes 16 seasons as an NFL head coach. He previously led the Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, and Chicago Bears, amassing a career regular-season record of 133-123. Throughout his head coaching career, Fox successfully guided both the Panthers and the Broncos to Super Bowl appearances.
Most recently, Fox spent the 2022 season as a senior defensive assistant for the Indianapolis Colts. His hiring in Buffalo adds a significant layer of experience to the Bills' defensive and overall coaching operations. As a veteran presence, Fox is expected to provide valuable insight to McDermott and the rest of the Buffalo staff as they look to maintain their status as a top contender in the AFC.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
