The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed veteran defensive lineman Rakeem Nuñez-Roches and wide receiver David Sills V, according to a report from @AdamSchefter.
Nuñez-Roches, 31, returns to the Buccaneers where he previously spent five seasons from 2018 to 2022. A key member of the Super Bowl LV championship squad, the defensive tackle brings significant experience and run-stopping capability back to the Tampa Bay defensive front. Throughout his career, he has appeared in 102 games, totaling 132 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
Joining him is wide receiver David Sills V, who adds depth to the Buccaneers offensive perimeter. Sills previously spent time with the New York Giants and Denver Broncos. Known for his standout collegiate career at West Virginia, Sills has recorded 13 receptions for 123 yards in his professional career and is expected to compete for a depth role and a spot on special teams.
The specific terms of the contracts for both players have not yet been disclosed by the team. These signings come as the Buccaneers continue to refine their roster during the current phase of the NFL calendar. No corresponding roster moves were immediately announced by the organization.
