The Kansas City Chiefs are reuniting with veteran cornerback L'Jarius Sneed, signing the two-time Super Bowl champion to a one-year deal worth up to $5 million, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Sneed, 29, returns to the franchise that drafted him in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. After a productive four-year stint in Kansas City, he was traded to the Tennessee Titans in 2024. However, after struggling with injuries and being released by the Titans this past March, the veteran cornerback is heading back to play under defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.

The move provides the Chiefs with a proven veteran presence in a secondary that also recently added first-round draft pick Mansoor Delane. Sneed has recorded 10 career interceptions and was a key piece of the Chiefs' championship defenses in 2022 and 2023. Per Rapoport, the deal was finalized following a visit to the team facility earlier this week.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
