The Miami Dolphins have hired former Tennessee Titans wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert to serve as the team's new wide receivers coach, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Tolbert joins a revamped offensive coaching staff in Miami that is currently being assembled under the leadership of new offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik. Known throughout the league as one of the most respected teachers of the wide receiver position, Tolbert brings significant veteran experience to a Dolphins unit that features some of the most explosive playmakers in the NFL.
The hiring of Tolbert follows the Dolphins' recent move to bring in Slowik to lead the offense. Tolbert most recently spent time with the Titans and has built a reputation over several decades for his ability to develop elite talent at the professional level. His addition is seen as a key piece in finalizing the staff around the Dolphins' new offensive vision, per @RapSheet.
