The New York Giants have officially signed first-round offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa to his rookie contract, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Mauigoa, the No. 10 overall selection in the 2026 NFL Draft, is the first of the team's two first-round picks to put pen to paper.
The former Miami Hurricanes standout is expected to be a cornerstone of the Giants' offensive line as they look to protect second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart. While Mauigoa played tackle in college, early reports from OTAs suggest the Giants may utilize him at right guard to start his professional career. His deal is a standard four-year rookie contract with a team option for a fifth season.
With Mauigoa officially under contract, the focus now shifts to the Giants' other first-round selection, linebacker Arvell Reese. Reese, taken No. 5 overall out of Ohio State, remains the only unsigned member of the Giants' 2026 draft class. Securing Mauigoa early in the summer allows the rookie to focus entirely on the team’s upcoming mandatory minicamp.
