Seattle Seahawks star wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has returned to the field in Super Bowl LX after a brief exit for injury evaluation, per @RapSheet.
The 2025 NFL Offensive Player of the Year left the game midway through the third quarter and was seen jogging to the locker room accompanied by team trainers. The Seahawks later confirmed that Smith-Njigba was undergoing evaluation for a concussion following a hard hit. After being assessed by the medical staff, he was cleared to rejoin the team and returned to the game on the ensuing offensive possession.
The Seahawks currently hold a 19-7 lead over the New England Patriots in the fourth quarter at Levi's Stadium. Smith-Njigba has been a primary target for the Seattle offense throughout the season, finishing the regular season with 119 catches and 1,793 receiving yards. Prior to his exit, he had recorded three receptions for 24 yards. His return ensures that quarterback Sam Darnold has his top playmaker available as the game enters its final stages.
