Legendary wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has been officially elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The news was delivered in a surprise visit by fellow Hall of Famer Randy Moss, who welcomed the Arizona Cardinals icon to Canton, per @AdamSchefter.
Fitzgerald enters the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility following a storied 17-season career spent entirely with the Arizona Cardinals. Over the course of his career, Fitzgerald recorded 1,432 receptions for 17,492 yards and 121 touchdowns. He currently ranks second all-time in NFL history for both career receptions and receiving yards, trailing only Jerry Rice.
The 11-time Pro Bowler and 2016 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year is widely recognized for his incredible hands, longevity, and postseason dominance. He famously led Arizona to a Super Bowl appearance during the 2008-09 season with a historic playoff performance. Randy Moss, a member of the Class of 2018, delivered the news personally to Fitzgerald to mark the significant achievement.
