USC wide receiver Makai Lemon, widely regarded as one of the top offensive prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft, is conducting a pre-draft workout with the New Orleans Saints today, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Lemon, the reigning Biletnikoff Award winner, is currently a projected top-10 selection. The Saints, who hold the No. 8 overall pick, are reportedly looking to bolster their receiving corps alongside Chris Olave. The workout in New Orleans is part of a high-stakes tour for the star wideout as teams finalize their draft boards ahead of next month's event in Pittsburgh.
Per Rapoport, Lemon has already completed a workout with the Washington Commanders (Pick No. 7) and visited the Cleveland Browns (Picks No. 6 and 24) last week. He is scheduled to meet with the Tennessee Titans, who hold the No. 4 overall pick, later this week. All four teams currently linked to Lemon hold selections within the top 10 of the draft.
Scouts have lauded Lemon for his elite route-running and ability to create separation at the line of scrimmage. In his final season at USC, he emerged as a premier playmaker, helping his stock rise into the first-round conversation. The significant interest from teams in the top 10 underscores his status as an intriguing prospect in a draft class headlined by Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza.
The 2026 NFL Draft is scheduled to take place in Pittsburgh from April 23-25.
