To move up those two spots in the second round, the Panthers are sending the No. 51 and No. 196 overall picks to the Vikings. The move ensures that Carolina can secure a specific target on their board as the second round of the draft continues to unfold. This trade represents a strategic jump in the order, requiring the exchange of multiple assets to finalize the move up the board.
The Minnesota Vikings will now pick at No. 51, sliding back just two spots while improving their positioning in the later rounds by moving from No. 196 to No. 159. This maneuver allows Minnesota to accumulate better value in the middle rounds of the draft while still remaining in the early portion of the second round.
