The Las Vegas Raiders have officially hired Klint Kubiak as their new head coach, according to Stacey Dales and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The move comes just 48 hours after Kubiak helped lead the Seattle Seahawks to a victory in Super Bowl LX as the team's offensive coordinator.
The Raiders' decision to secure Kubiak follows a high-stakes coaching search where the organization prioritized championship experience. While Ian Rapoport initially reported on February 1 that the Raiders were zeroing in on Kubiak, the hire was finalized and confirmed late Sunday night following the Seahawks' championship win. Kubiak's stock rose significantly during the 2025 season as he directed one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL.
Kubiak arrives in Las Vegas with a decorated resume, most recently serving as the architect of the Seahawks' Super Bowl-winning offense. Prior to his tenure in Seattle, he served as the offensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints in 2024 and spent time with the San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings. He is the son of four-time Super Bowl champion Gary Kubiak.
The Raiders are expected to hold an introductory press conference at the team's facility later this week.
