The Los Angeles Rams have finalized a blockbuster trade to acquire perennial All-Pro edge rusher Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns, per @RapSheet.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Rams are sending a significant package to Cleveland in exchange for the star defender. The return includes pass rusher Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick, and a conditional 2029 third-round selection. The trade was officially processed this week following the June 1 salary cap deadline.
In conjunction with the move, Garrett has reportedly agreed to a reworked five-year, $204 million contract extension to remain in Los Angeles long-term. Garrett, 30, has been one of the most dominant forces in the NFL since being selected first overall by the Browns in 2017. He joins a Rams defense looking to bolster its front seven following recent roster shifts.
