The Baltimore Ravens are expected to hire Eddie Faulkner as the team's new running backs coach, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Faulkner makes the move to the AFC North rival after spending the last seven seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
During his lengthy tenure in Pittsburgh, Faulkner was instrumental in the development of the Steelers' rushing attack. He is widely credited with molding key contributors such as Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren. Beyond his NFL experience, Faulkner also coached Philadelphia Eagles running back Kenneth Gainwell during their time together at the University of Memphis.
The veteran coach now transitions to Baltimore, where he will be tasked with leading a backfield that features star veteran Derrick Henry. Faulkner brings years of experience navigating the physical style of play synonymous with the AFC North, providing a veteran presence to John Harbaugh's offensive staff as they prepare for the upcoming season.
