The New Orleans Saints have acquired edge rusher Tyree Wilson in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders, per @RapSheet. The deal, which was finalized during Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft, brings a former top-10 pick to the Saints' defensive line.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Saints sent the No. 150 overall selection (a fifth-round pick) to the Raiders in exchange for Wilson and the No. 219 overall pick. Las Vegas wasted no time using that acquired pick, selecting Arizona safety Dalton Johnson with the 150th selection.
Wilson, who was the No. 7 overall pick in the 2023 draft, arrives in New Orleans after a three-season stint in Las Vegas where he recorded 12 career sacks and 91 tackles. The 6-foot-5, 263-pound defender is expected to provide immediate depth and competition for the Saints behind starters Chase Young and Carl Granderson.
