The Seattle Seahawks have officially matched the offer sheet extended by the Jacksonville Jaguars to wide receiver Jake Bobo, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The decision ensures the restricted free agent will remain in Seattle on a two-year contract worth $5.5 million.

The deal includes $4.5 million in total guarantees and a $1.75 million signing bonus for the second-year wideout. Negotiated by agent Steve Caric, the contract also includes performance-based incentives that allow Bobo to earn up to $7 million over the life of the agreement.

Bobo originally joined the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA and quickly became a versatile contributor for the franchise. During his 2023 rookie campaign, he appeared in 17 games and recorded 19 receptions for 196 yards and two touchdowns. In addition to his receiving production, Bobo established himself as a standout on special teams and an elite run-blocking receiver, making him a priority for the Seattle front office to retain.

By matching the Jaguars' offer, Seattle maintains its wide receiver depth behind starters DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The move prevents the AFC South club from poaching the ascending talent and keeps a key piece of the Seahawks offense under team control through the 2025 season.
