The NFL has officially closed its personal conduct policy review of free-agent wide receiver Stefon Diggs and will not issue any discipline, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The league's investigation followed allegations of assault and strangulation involving a former personal chef. Diggs was found not guilty of all criminal charges related to the incident in May, and the NFL has now determined there is "insufficient evidence" to warrant a suspension or fine. This decision clears the path for the 32-year-old veteran to sign with a new team ahead of the 2026 season.
Diggs is currently a free agent after being released by the New England Patriots in March. He recorded 1,013 receiving yards and four touchdowns during the 2025 campaign. With the league's review concluded, his market is expected to accelerate as teams look for veteran help at wide receiver.
