The Cleveland Browns are officially introducing Todd Monken as the 19th head coach in franchise history during an introductory press conference Tuesday, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Monken joins the Browns after serving as the offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens for the past three seasons. During his tenure in Baltimore, Monken directed a high-powered offense that saw Lamar Jackson win the NFL MVP in 2023 and the team lead the league in several offensive categories. This is Monken’s first head coaching position in the NFL, though he previously served as the head coach at Southern Miss from 2013 to 2015.

The veteran coach returns to a Browns organization he knows well, having served as the team's offensive coordinator in 2019. He replaces Kevin Stefanski, who departed the organization in January. Monken takes over a roster that features young quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who was recently named to the Pro Bowl Games as a rookie replacement.

During the press conference, Monken is expected to outline his vision for the team and discuss the construction of his new coaching staff. Reports indicate he has already begun filling out his staff with several former Ravens assistants expected to follow him to Cleveland.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
